To build a stronger community overall and bring people together to develop relationships, we encourage the creation of clubs (or small communities) within the YMCA. Most clubs are facilitated by volunteers. If you have a special interest and would like to start a club, please contact Jason Martinez, Membership Director, at (619) 421-8805.

The club features playing the hits from the Rock and roll of the 60 and 70, The Bluesand today tunes, original works and seasonal favorites with the possibility of working towards local performances. The Club is open to all Guitarists, Bassists, Keyboardists, Percussionists and Singers who enjoy music and just want to play.The ability to read music, (or tabs)would be helpful. The YMCA Guitar Club is seeking to form a YMCA House Band is seeking seasoned singers, Piano players and percussionist who would enjoy performing at upcoming YMCA events. The ability to read music or tabs is preferred any anyone is invited who enjoys music, plays any instruments and would enjoy performing hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s; such artists as Crosby Still and Nash, the Beatles, Tom Petty and other Rock, Folk and Country Legends. | Got a lot of pictures stored in a shoe box? Some dates are subject to change to reflect holiday or special events schedules. Each month the club hosts a visiting scrapbook vendor in which they rotate month-to-month. First time scrappers are encouraged to come and meet with our vendors to help get started. No purchases are required, except on selected "make-n-takes" which are optional and will be announced on our monthly email reminders. Child care is not available. Bring a friend!
