Martial Arts

The traditional martial arts of Japan are replete in Asian tradition and cultural values. Respecting of one's elders, teachers, family and friends are deeply ingrained into the heart of every Hayashi-ha practitioner. The value of discipline and personal accountability brings to light one's own ability to make his or her future as they choose. One learns to take charge of one's life and ultimately one's future. Children and young adults in the program are instilled with these values from the beginning through a rigorous program of basic self defense, kata (forms), and kumite (sparring), and are given the tools to grow and learn. Also included are physical exercises for all ages and games for younger students. In addition, campers will participate in sports, arts & crafts and other fun activities.
